Elder Action Day 2024

May 1 is CFUW's Elder Action Day!

Today is all about combatting ageism and advocating for better services and support for older people. This demographic is the fastest-growing age group in the country, yet is often disregarded and ignored. Together, we can make a more age-friendly society, where old people are able to age in the right place for them—with their autonomy, dignity, and value respected. What does a society that promotes and prioritizes healthy aging look like to you? Write to your local policymakers to tell them!
